We have space for two fantastic new members to join and work alongside our already amazing team. We currently have two vacancies and are looking for 2 professional and customer-friendly cleaners to look after both our students and staff here at Orchard Manor School. Your hours will be 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, working 41 weeks per annum. This post requires cleaning residential buildings and offices during the school day, and pupil-related areas either before or after the pupils are on site. Salary: £24,238 full-time equivalent (£12,006 actual salary)
Working hours: 20 hours per week for 41 weeks per annum, working Monday to Friday
Start and finish times to be agreed.
The role includes :-
- Being responsible for a set of keys and for ensuring the security and integrity of areas of cleaning
- Maintaining the school environment; deep cleaning carpeted and non-carpeted areas; soft furnishings; fixtures and fittings; windows and walls; maintaining storage areas
- Complying with COSHH regulations
- Working in all areas of the school site. There may be a need to lift and move heavy items of equipment. The job holder will need to risk assess whether heavier items can be moved without the aid of another person or additional aids.
